And I understand completely. My duaghter had heart surgery at Sick Kids shortly after she was born at Women's College, 15 weeks preamture and I distinctly remember that sinking feeling when they took her (away from me) into surgery. I didn't know if I'd ever see her again. Those 3 hours were the lognest and most gut wrenching of my life. And as you say - the nurses - well, they made all the difference. They weren't just adept at taking care of the babies - they were outstanding at taking care of the parents! To this day I am in awe of and filled with gratitude for health care professionals, and nurses in particular. And I am most especially thankful we live in Canada where our health care system, while not perfect - is truly universal and there when we need it. Touching story Matt. And I understand completely.
